Jocork® was founded in 2013, by Maria Jorge Montez, with a degree in Business Management and a Master in Relationship Marketing, with extensive experience in the business fabric.

Jocork®is a 100% Portuguese brand which invests in high quality, design and customer satisfaction, using Cork in its production, a 100% natural, recyclable, reusable, biodegradable, renewable and unique material. Cork is removed from the Cork Oak every 9 years, by the cutters, with ancestral techniques, having for that manual skill and a lot of experience, not damaging the tree. In Portugal about 55% of world production is extracted.

Jocork® is concerned with the Environment and Animals. All our products are Vegan and Eco Friendly. We mainly create handbags, wallets and other accessories for the home. These are hand made models, by careful craftsmen, and are therefore unique pieces.
